Rems Research and Development team are continuously designing and planning enhancements to all of our products. With various requests, from farmers, technicians and engineers, Rem has designed and manufactured a self-contained, diesel engine powered grain vac. The Grain Vac 2500Ds radically different design changes the traditional role of the Grain Vac. More than just a clean up tool, the Rem Grain Vac 2500D can be towed and positioned with a regular half-ton truck. Farmers and commercial grain elevator operators appreciate the ease and simplicity of operation, low maintenance and strong horsepower of the Rem Grain Vac 2500D.
Top 5 Convenience Features on the 2500D
1. 2" Ball Hitch allows for direct attachment to a regular half-ton truck. This allows the operator to travel between long distances and maneuver in confined spaces where a tractor is not available, practical or convenient to use.
2. Self-Contained Cummins Diesel Engine eliminates the need for a tractor. The 85hp (@2600 rpm) water cooled engine has sufficient power to move more than 5,000 bushels per hour during full bin load out with 7 to 10 feet of steel hose.
3. Steel Diesel Fuel Tank & Hydraulic Oil Reservoir are custom built into the frame, complete with a steel secondary containment, to keep the unit compact and the work area clear of obstacles. Diesel Tank capacity is 39 US gallons (150L), and the Hydraulic Reservoir is 7.5 US Gallons (30 L).
4. Engine & Vac Mounts situated under the grain vac and engine help reduce vibration and noise during transport and operation.
5. Heavy Duty Dual Torsion Axle with Electric Brakes provide the safety and stability required when towing the unit.
Standard Features
Cummins Diesel Engine. The grain vac itself requires 70hp to run at maximum capacity. With this Cummins B3.3 Turbo 85hp water cooled engine, the 2500D has more than enough power to move even the most dense material.
Block Heater. Ensures the easiest of start ups during the coldest times of the year.
7 Floor Sweep with waist high handles enables improved speed on clean up.
Pressure Relief Slide. This adjustable slide is used to relieve pressure within the grain vac allowing lighter grains to fall into the auger.
Roadway Lighting Package & Deflectors Complete roadway lighting package is built into the frame and conforms to D.O.T. standards.
Tires & Rims. ST225/75R15 tires and 8 x 15 5-Bolt white spoke rims.
Paint. The grain vac and frame are powder coat painted to guarantee a tough and highly durable surface.
Brush Kit. It keeps chaff and debris off the drum. Tighten the bolts on the kit when moving lighter material to maintain capacity of the machine.

Health and Safety
Your health and safety depends upon a safe work environment. The Rem Grain Vac 2100D gives you a dust free environment and eliminates dangerous open augers. All aspects of Grain Vac operation have been tested, inspected, and safety approved.
Seed Quality
Independent tests by grain elevator operators indicate that the Rem Grain Vac causes less damage to valuable seed than conventional vacuum systems where high speed airlocks are used. In addition, our unique drum and exhaust design separates grain from dust, thereby improving the quality of the material that you deliver.
Every grain handling application has unique requirements, and over 15 years of input from Grain Vac users has resulted in the many options now available from Rem. The 2500D is available in Heavy Duty model only with hydraulic fold systems.

Rem Grain Vac Model 2500D
The standard 2500D model is recommended for handling most cereal crops. For transferring corn, soybeans, other more abrasive seed, or for large volume and commercial applications, we suggest the CS model. In addition to all the standard features the CS includes a drum brush kit to keep the air drum clear during movement of very light or sticky grain, and extra heavy-duty flyting for increased longevity. All Rem products are powder coated for optimum finish durability.

Warranty
2 YEARS for the Grain VAC: The first year Rem Enterprises Inc. will cover parts and any labour incurred with the part replacement. The second year Rem Enterprises Inc. will cover parts that are found to have a manufacturer's defects. Cummin will warranty on manufacturer defects on the engine.
